Eyes
Green:
Green is the colour of the season in terms of fashion. It’s no surprise that it’s becoming a major makeup trend as well. The thought of green eye shadow can seem a little daunting at first, especially if you’re more of a minimalist, however, sticking to army greens, khakis and brown shades will keep the look more muted.
These shades also complement a wide range of eye colours and skin tones which will help keep the look coordinated and put together rather than garish.

Rainbow:
We saw a wide range of bright colours and pastels make their way onto the runway this Fashion Month meaning they are predicted to be a big trend in the upcoming seasons. Get ahead of the game and add some bright colours to your makeup.
Coloured eye shadow is a great makeup trend to have fun with Add your own personal touch to a look and there are so many colours to choose from, you can really make it your own. You can do a simple sweep across the eye for a touch of colour or layer the eye shadow to create a bold statement look.

60s Crease:
Another blast from the past that is making a comeback is the 60s crease. A great way to add a bit of drama to your makeup look. If you really want to make a statement, you can experiment with using different colours and textures to build up a bold eye look.
For a more subtle look, simply swipe some dark shadow in your crease and blend it out slightly to reduce the harshness. Pile on the mascara to widen the eyes and keep the rest of the makeup minimal.

Jewel:
If you want to add even more drama to your makeup, autumn is the perfect time to start experimenting with richer jewel-toned eye shadows. With the added shimmer.
We’ve been seeing lots of celebrities sporting the jewel-toned eye shadows and we’re loving them with a neutral makeup look to really make the eyes pop. They’re another great way to have fun and a great way to make you look extra glam if you’re opting for a simple outfit.

Mother of Pearl:
For those of you who aren’t a fan of the colour trend and don’t have time for a statement eye look. Then a pearly blend of pink, beige and shimmery shadows are a subtle way to bring attention to the eyes.
A great option if you are a makeup minimalist but still want to make your eyes pop. Combine it with the kitten eyeliner to define your eyes and you’ve got the perfect makeup look for either day or night.

EyeLiner
Kitten Eyeliner:
Say goodbye to the dramatically overlined cat-eye look and say hello to the much more subtle kitten eyeliner. No more faffing around with trying to get the perfect wing as the smaller lines are so much easier.
To create the kitten eye look, start your liner in the centre of the eye and use short, thin strokes along your lash line with a little flick at the end. It gives a softer natural-looking wing. Smudge out the eyeliner to create more of a shadow effect rather than clean-cut lines.

Bright Liner:
If you are new to makeup or want to experiment with the colour then colourful eyeliner is the way to go. It’s a great oppurtunity to try a wider range of colours. As it doesn’t cover the entire eye it’s still a subtle statement that will immediately liven up your makeup look.

Lips
Bold:
If there is ever a time to do a bold lip, it’s now. Brick coloured lips are particularly in this season as they are easier to pull off and wear day to day. You can of course never go wrong with the classic reds and burgundies or try a deep berry for a fresher take on a statement lip.

Glossy:
The 90s and early 2000s are back. There are some amazing lip glosses that have your lips looking fuller and healthier. Glossy lips are perfect to finish off a natural, dewy makeup look or try a gloss with a slight tint to make them look even juicier.
Stay away from the 90s trend of light lips and darker liner it’s never a good look.

Face
Rosy Accents:
Achieve the effortless summer glow by adding rosy accents with this stunning makeup trend. In the colder months when our skin can have a tendency to look a bit dull, this is a great way to wake up your face and bring it back to life.
Piling on the blush will give you that instant sun-kissed look and using it as contour will lift your face. Adding a rosy shadow right above your crease will widen and brighten your eyes by adding warmth and definition.
