Paris, the city of love, home of fashion and food amongst others. The city carries many names and evokes many thoughts. Whatever your thoughts, everybody has an opinion on one of the most famous capital cities in the world. When you think of Paris you automatically think croissants, the Eurostar and Disneyland Paris but there are a also few secret places to visit in Paris.

Whilst the main attractions are Disneyland Paris, Eiffel Tower, and Champs- Elysees (to name a few), there are a few other hidden gems the city has to offer. With its array of bakeries, restaurants, and shops there is an endless choice of places to visit in Paris and activities to keep you busy. The city that has been nicknamed ‘Ville de lumière’ which translates as ‘the city of light’.

Du Pain Et Des Idees

Known as the best patisserie in the city, you are not only able to get breakfast staples but delicacies such as its escargot Chocolat pistache, which is a snail-shaped pastry with chocolate and pistachio.

Translated as Bread and Ideas this historical bakery (dating back to 1889) is well known for other signature pieces including their organic flour bread, Pain Des Amis.
