A leather jacket should be a staple item in your wardrobe & it doesn’t have to be real to look good.
Leather has always been present in fashion in various shapes and forms. For the past year, we have been reintroduced to leather in the form of jackets, coats and blazers as fashion became more about expression and less about seasonal trends. The classic leather jacket you might wear on a breezy spring day is the same leather jacket you will wear on a warm autumn night out with your girls.
While we know that the leather jacket’s history goes all the way back to the 1900s when it was a military uniform, It never seems to go out of style. You could find some type of leather in any shape or form: coats, jackets, blazers, trousers, skirts, and even accessories. Sometimes a leather jacket is cropped, other times we could find one that has been bedazzled and now we have finally managed to get a leather blazer to keep us looking like the ultimate Girlboss.
Leather doesn’t have to mean real leather, these days you can get the leather look with faux or PU versions too so if you are vegan you can still wear it without the guilt!
