The accessories owned by french women would ideally be authentic hand made or passed down from generation to generation. If like me you don’t have that luxury then don’t worry you can still get authentic-looking pieces that will give you the perfect Parisienne chic style.

French women are renowned for paying attention to every little detail in particular to their French accessories. They make sure their french accessories blend well together and each item they wear whether that be a simple white t-shirt and fedora hat complement each other seamlessly.

Parisienne chic is one of my favourite styles French women ooze elegance and grace whilst making it look effortless. I try and live by the French girl style, beauty and diet rules as much as I can so I wanted to share with you what I’ve learnt so far.

There is so much to cover when it comes to French accessories so read on to find out more. The Simple White T-shirt & ways to style it.

French Accessories

Sunglasses

French women have a certain mystery about them they emanate edgy-cool style that they hide it all behind a pair of dark sunglasses. Wear them outside to shield you from the sun or inside so that no one knows what you’re thinking.

Hats

The beret has to be the most iconic style but the french do love all hats. A beautiful hat can turn a simple outfit into an amazing outfit Fedoras, Straw or Panama are some of the best French accessories.

Jewellery

When it comes to jewellery the typical theme is minimal and delicate pieces. Coin necklaces or pearl earrings always look classy. Layered necklaces can also create a bit more interest when paired with an open white shirt.

The French aren’t afraid to wear bold statement pieces. When choosing a statement piece make sure all the rest of your jewellery is understated so that the sole focus is on the statement piece.

Scarfs

A scarf isn’t just there to keep you warm it’s an accessory that would be kept in her handbag “just in case”. Scarfs can be used to cover your hair when it’s raining, wrap around your handbag to give it a splash of colour and make it look unique. A pashmina wrap is perfect all year round as the material is light and soft against your delicate skin.

Shoes

The French love a flat to strut around the cobbled streets of Paris so comfort and long-wearing shoes are key. If you want to wear a heel for the evening then make it a block heel in a nude colour.

I found the shoes are a beautiful contrast between masculine with a touch of feminine softness. This is another reason why I love the French style they’re not afraid to mix styles or textures.

Bags

The bigger the bag the more of your life you would carry your life in it if its a clutch then it will only carry your makeup, phone and money. When it comes to bags it’s got to be the extreme big or small no in between. If it’s a designer it has to be real the French woman does not do fakes and definitely no bold logos.

Watches

A classically styled watch will go with everything. Keep it simple it’s just an accessory the French woman doesn’t need to know what time is she will do everything in her own time.

Leather strap or all metal I prefer to keep one of each so I can match it with what I’m wearing.

French women pay attention to the tiniest detail. She makes sure that the colours of her accessories balance well together. Never be afraid to try something different just make sure you wear it with absolute confidence.
