Avon Skincare Product Review
It’s a skincare brand that has literally been knocking on our doors since 1959. A skincare brand we all know and love but have we forgotten just how good Avon actually is? Now that Avon skincare products have gone cruelty-free I thought it was time we took another look at their range.
I used to love getting the Avon book delivered every month. Flicking through the pages of this pint-sized magazine filled with absolutely everything. Haircare, skincare, makeup, perfume, fashion and gifts it had it all.
With everything now moving online and with no local representative in my area. I’d forgotten all about Avon and usually buy my skincare from the supermarket.
Recently I tried a range of different Avon skincare products and was shocked at just how good they are. I mean the scientific research for Avon has been going for as long as the company has been around. I’d just disregarded them and believed they were still living in the ’90s. Not that there’s anything wrong with the ’90s.

This is a well known Avon brand, as soon as I see the name I automatically think Avon. Research into this brand is constantly being updated.
The Clinical Plumping Concentrate is an anti-wrinkle serum with 1.5% pure hyaluronic acid. If you haven’t been using hyaluronic acid then you need to start now. I’m 34 and have started to notice those fine lines especially in between my brows. After a week of using this serum, I saw a huge improvement (hallelujah).
Directions: Apply in upwards and outwards motion to freshly cleansed face and neck in the morning and evening.
ANEW Clinical Lift & Firm Eye Cream is split into 2 sections. The first is an under eye cream that is formulated with amino acids. PolyPeptide Lift Complex will give you an instant lift and a more youthful look. The second is a gel formula to help tighten your upper eye and above the brow area.
Directions: Apply both cream & gel to the eye area twice daily.
This is a brand new range from Avon. This range that blew me away it looks luxe, it feels expensive and it works! Suitable for all skin types.
fragrance-free, alcohol-free, clinically tested, dermatologically tested, allergy tested, vegan and eco friendly ( so a huge thumbs up all around).
Power up skincare kit. The kit consists of Clean Break Cleanser a solid balm. Balms are so popular right now as it breaks down heavy makeup and impurities. When the balm is warmed up in your hands it changes into a milky cream. It melts into your skin, made up of 69% apricot oil.
Purify Facial Oil I was always sceptical of using face oils on my skin. I didn’t want it to cause breakouts, however, this face oil gives me so much hydration. It’s light, not greasy so makes my skin feel refreshed and moisturised. It has Vitamin E and 95% Jojoba oil renews the look of dull and congested skin. It smells gorgeous in fact the whole of the Distillery range smells incredible.
Vitamin C-Shot Powder 100% Vitamin C and a sprinkle of Vitamin E. We all know the benefits of Vitamins for our health. S no wonder we are ow we are putting it into our skincare too. This velvety powder added to moisturiser will give your skin an instant glow.
How to use.
- Massage the cleansing balm on to dry skin and watch as it transforms into a milky oil.
- Rinse away the cleanser to reveal gorgeous skin.
- Massage 3-5 drops of the facial oil morning and night, before your face cream.
- Finish by adding 2 shakes of the vitamin C-shot face powder into your moisturiser.
I couldn’t believe that Avon had a K-Beauty range this got me so excited. If you follow my Instagram. You will have seen a recent pic on my stories trying K-Beauty Gold Hydrogel Eye Patches With Hyaluronic Acid. To my surprise, most of my followers hadn’t heard of K Beauty so this is for you my lovelies. The eye mask is a gel-like texture and cools under eyes leaving you feeling fresh.
Directions: Apply the masks directly under eyes and leave for 15-20 minutes. After removing, gently massage any remaining essence into your skin.
*K Beauty the term used for skincare products that derived from South Korea and focus on health and hydration. The Koreans are years ahead of us in the beauty world. All the trends that we know and love came from K-Beauty (eye mask, lip masks and face sheet masks).
