Vision boards to manifest your best life for a happy 2025

Vision Boards are a great tool in helping to make your dreams become a reality. Vision boards are collages that provide a visual representation of your goals and dreams to inspire and motivate you to take action. Here is everything you need to know about vision boards with the help of Lisa Williams a Vision Board Coach.

Visualising your dream life and setting out your personal goals is not only a vital step towards manifesting your dream life but also understanding what your own dream life actually entails. We spoke to Lisa Williams a Vision Board Coach to better understand how exactly we can use vision boards and what the benefits are.

What are vision boards?

A vision board which is also known as a dream board is a collection of images and affirmations of your dreams and desires” says Lisa. These boards can include words and images, and all help you to create an overall image of what it is that you want to achieve- a larger goal. Whilst some people may collate images that set out their dream job, others may create a board that shows their dream family life, and many may blend all their goals onto one board.

There are no restrictions when it comes to vision boards as each one is unique to an individual. However, Lisa suggests that creating a vision board “can be difficult for those who do not know what they want from life” but “this is part of their journey of finding out what they truly desire“. Vision boards are not only good at helping you manifest your goals but also help you understand what those goals are, highlighting their many benefits.

The Benefits

There are many benefits to creating vision boards. Not only do vision boards enable you to visualise your dream life but they also remind you to stay connected to your dreams and make them seem more attainable. Lisa tells us about her own success with vision boards:

During my own journey, I have achieved my dream wedding in 2019, I was also able to announce the pregnancy of our rainbow baby during the wedding. I have purchased my dream home, and more recently just removed the image of a hot tub and landscaped garden.”

Lisa has also seen success with her own clients who she has seen ‘winning a cruise, business expansions, award win, holidays and even getting their children into the school for their needs.’

How to create a vision board

To create a vision board Lisa proposes that there are 3 basic steps that you can follow:

  • Write down everything you desire- do a brain dump of all you want from life.
  • Next to each of those desires on your list, add an affirmation next to that desire.
  • Head to Google, Pinterest or a magazine and find those images off your list.
  • Then you have the fun part of sticking and cutting.’

Tips for Manifesting

Lisa recommends reading the book Universe Has Your Back by Gabrielle Bernstein, a book about transforming fear into faith to enhance your manifestation journey. Joyce Schwarz’s The Vision Board is also another great read and is a book that will enhance your faith in vision boards as it details the stories of many people who have achieved success through the power of manifestation and visualisation.

The vision board also teaches you how to identify exactly what it is that you want in life and how to attain it. If you are struggling with the idea of manifestation and vision boards then it may be usual to contact a Vision Board Coach like Lisa herself who can also help with your manifesting journey.

Lisa says that as a coach she can ‘help clients through the journey, this can be from the creation of the board to in-depth blocks which present them on their journey. These can include Money blocks, self-confidence, and any belief they hold onto from their past.’
