Summer Outfits 2020

Floral Ditsy Dress

Pretty florals and soft floaty fabrics ooze femininity; the floral ditsy dress will be your go-to dress for the Summer. There are so many to choose from but you can’t go wrong with a wrap dress it’s easy to throw on no matter what you have planned for the day.

Get the look –  add a pair of block-heeled sandals, statement earrings and a quilted bag.

Tailored shorts

I love to mix masculine elements and soften them with simple pieces from your wardrobe so I would 100% team a pair of tailored shorts with a basic cotton t-shirt and matching blazer a classic look.

Bardot Top

There’s nothing sexier than showing off a bit of skin in the Summer as long as it’s just a little. A Bardot top is perfect to show off your shoulders and no what’s even better is strap marks!

Get the look – Wear a Bardot top with a pleated midi skirt and a gorgeous pair of slip-on mules.

Linen Jumpsuit

It’s Summer so it’s going to be hot. Linen is the obvious choice of fabric to keep us cool and looking stylish all at the same time. Linen is a classic Summer fabric so when you find the right item make sure to take care of it and you can wear it again and again.

Get the Look – Keep everything else minimal the jumpsuit is the main focus here so a simple gold necklace, comfortable tan sandals and a cute crossbody bag.

Maxi Dress

This has to be an absolute must-have for Summer the maxi dress has been one of my go-to dresses for any occasion and this one in particular from ASOS Cami Wrap Maxi Dress has to be my favourite find. I love the neutral stone colour and wrap wicker belt it’s selling fast so mines already in the basket.

Get the lookStraw bag, classic sandals and hoop earrings.

White Jeans

When it comes to white jeans I have a love-hate relationship. I love how chic they look but I hate that I will get them filthy. For me, jeans have to be comfortable as well as stylish. I tend to opt for a high rise skinny as these tend to look and feel better on my 5-foot 7-inch frame.

WARNING! Do not drink Cabernet Sauvignon when wearing white jeans the two don’t go together!

Get the look – Keep the tones for the rest of the outfit neutral, add a vest top (tucked in) and team it with a camel bag, matching heels. I personally would add a fedora hat to bring the entire outfit together and look ultra-chic.
