La Redoute pop-up
La Redoute is launching its first-ever UK consumer pop-up shop to help shoppers overcome the challenge of designing their own homes. The event will offer a hands-on experience with La Redoute’s chic homeware collections, allowing visitors to explore the newest autumn and winter ranges in person.
This comes after the brand found almost half of UK adults (45 per cent) think they have the talent and creativity to design interiors at a professional level. Yet this confidence isn’t reflected in their own homes, as 90 per cent are unsatisfied with their interiors and admit that their spaces need significant improvements to meet their expectations.
A major factor contributing to this disconnect is a reluctance to embrace bold colours, a staggering 71 per cent confess they struggle to incorporate vibrant hues in their home, instead opting for safer neutral tones.
Further, the living room was identified as the most difficult space to style (38 per cent), closely followed by the hallway (25 per cent) and bedroom (21 per cent). In contrast, the office (5 per cent) and dining room (10 per cent) are seen as the easiest areas to design.
Investing in high-ticket furniture items presents another hurdle, as over a quarter (28 per cent) of the nation cite quality concerns as the biggest challenging factor, followed closely behind by size (27 per cent).
To assist customers with their interior struggles, La Redoute is launching its first-ever UK consumer pop-up shop, designed to help shoppers overcome the challenge of designing their own homes and to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its signature brand, La Redoute Intérieurs.
The event will offer a hands-on experience with La Redoute’s chic homeware collections, allowing visitors to explore the newest autumn and winter ranges in person and have a peek at the brand’s fashion staples.
Guests will also have the opportunity to use scannable QR codes throughout the shop to purchase the books directly.
The first 50 consumers through the door each day will receive an exclusive goody bag, featuring a unique discount code. The event will also include an array of activities, including a ‘Cake or Fake’ guessing game, a Polaroid photographer, and a Spin to Win wheel offering incredible prizes – including an all-expenses-paid trip to Paris for two.
Sarah Link, Head of Marketing at La Redoute, said: “It’s surprising to hear that many Brits find it difficult to create spaces they truly love, despite trusting their own interior design abilities. With our curated collections and expert guidance, we aim to bridge the gap and make it easier for everyone to achieve their ideal home.
“Our upcoming pop-up store, launching in celebration of the 10th anniversary of our signature brand La Redoute Intérieurs, will provide guests with the unique opportunity to experience our products in person and learn how to bring them into their own homes with confidence.
“We are thrilled to bring the elegance and style of La Redoute Intérieurs directly to the UK high street for the first time, celebrating a decade of delivering chic designs while connecting with our community in this new and exciting way.”
The pop-up shop will be open to the public from Friday 13th – Saturday 14th September from 10am to 5pm at 37 Rathbone Street, Fitzrovia, London, W1T 1NZ.
