Medik8 Facial Review

If there is one thing I would recommend that everyone should do it would be to have a Medik8 facial. I got in touch with Kathryn at SkinLab Boutique and she booked me in for a Medik8 facial.

Kathryn has been in the Beauty Industry for over 18 years working in 5* Spa’s, cruise ships and even superyachts. I sat down for a consultation Kathryn asked me about my daily skincare routine at home, makeup products, lifestyle and diet.

Medik8 Facial

Medik8 facials are created to rejuvenate the skin and provide a relaxing experience. You get instant and visible results from the first treatment. Kathryn began with a double cleanse first using the Cream Cleanse and then the Lipid Balance Cleanse Oil.

Using Balancing Toner then the Super facial exfoliator (professional use only) contains fruit enzymes to nibble away at the dead skin cells I then had a relaxing face massage with Facial Oil which I could have fallen asleep after (so relaxing).

Then came the Platinum mask (professional use only), this is a clay-like face mask that completely covers face, eye & lips. After 20mins the mask peels off in one and you can immediately feel the bounce in your skin and all of the benefits from it.

Different serums were then applied all over my face C tetra eye, Liquid Peptides & Daily Radiance Vit C & SPF. Medik8 CSA Philosophy. The facial also includes neck and arm massage the treatment was really in-depth and gave my skin an instant glow.

This was a 20min treatment  (can be up to 30mins & booked as a course of treatments) using Red & NIR for skin rejuvenation & collagen stimulation whilst also calming the skin.

My skin was radiant after what’s even better is over the next few weeks it will keep on improving. I couldn’t recommend this enough not only does my skin feel magnificent but I felt completely relaxed.
