Minimalist Party Décor
Let’s start with table setting – this is our personal favourite when we host our Christmas parties. The details and colour coordination for this are key points! When you think simple, think 3 colours at max and have a “less is more” mentality. Go with a minimalistic feel and not too out of the box to avoid overcrowding the look, which would mean neutral or earthy tones.

Set your dinnerware theme along with a set colour palette – a simple solid colour, nothing too flashy just to keep it clean. Complement the dinnerware with matte finish cutleries for a classy look, but don’t forget to keep it within the colour palette. Matte cutleries may not be easy to find, but we’ve got your back! You can get them from H&M Home
In a simple table setting, try to minimise the centrepieces by adding some rosemary or pine cone with some candles to match the neutral/earthy tones. Make a statement with one of your chosen centrepieces by placing them on each set of dinnerware above the napkin.

Traditional
This goes out to those who get Christmas crazy with colours, trees, and lights that spell out Christmas immediately. We’re talking about traditional red, green, gold and white type decors. Because the colours are vibrant, when it comes to having table setting decors, you will need to make sure it’s not just throwing the colours on the table, but making sure that the decors are placed neatly on the setting.

With these items, you’re able to achieve a very merry table setting. Don’t forget to add some candles to complement the fir garland across your table, or even place some Holley berries to create a contrast.
Food & Drink
You can also look at your food and beverages to give your Christmas party that extra wow factor. Start the party with some welcome appetizers and cocktails. Here are some Christmas food and cocktail ideas that we’ve happily tried and tested for you.
